These statement earrings were created for the Association of Contemporary jewellery exhibition, Duality.
Did you know that the Technosphere—the total weight of everything humans have made, from buildings to plastic waste— now outweighs the biosphere, the entirety of life on Earth?
I imagine this as a new layer of fossils pressing into the earth’s crust—a geology of human creation. What will future generations think of this stratum of waste? What stories will it tell about us?
The stones I create, heat-pressed from repurposed acrylic waste, are my small answer to this question. Like sedimentary rock, their layered forms reveal their past lives, transformed into something precious. They are fragments of the Technosphere reimagined—a material language that speaks of duality: waste and beauty, permanence and fragility, destruction and creation.
Through jewellery, these stories become wearable, sparking quiet conversations between the wearer and the world. It’s a small act of care, a way to honour what we leave behind, and a step toward rethinking the future.

When not being worn, we recommend storing your WONDERHAUS in the box it came in.
Avoid contact with body creams, perfume and sprays, all of these can tarnish or affect the surface of the jewellery.
Please avoid getting the pieces wet, this can tarnish the metal elements of the jewellery and affect the glued elements of the jewellery.
Although our pieces are designed to withstand a few knocks, please try to avoid dropping pieces on hard surfaces, the impact can break Perspex.

Welcome to the World of WONDERHAUS! WONDERHAUS jewellery is made to be worn boldly and courageously, as a statement of the wearer’s personality, independent, curious, and adventurous.
WONDERHAUS was born out of a love of self expression, a way to decorate yourself. We use laser cutting, etching and engraving alongside traditional jewellery techniques to create our work.

- Orders are usually dispatched within 5-7 working days via Royal Mail First or Recorded Delivery.
- Standard UK delivery is £4.50 but FREE on orders over £50.
- Orders within the EU are £14.25 and may take up to 10 working days to reach their destination.
- Orders outside the EU are £18.95 and may take up to 20 working days to reach their destination.
As jewellery is handmade to order, during busy periods such as sales or holidays, please allow extra time for your order to be dispatched. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, simply return the items in their original condition within 10 days of receipt and we will issue a full refund (excluding original delivery charge), or exchange the item if preferred.
